IMPERIAL GLASS CRYSTAL FLUTE
PATTERN TOOTHPICK HOLDER WITH CIRCULAR MEDALLIONS
This
is a charming and beautiful little glass toothpick holder.
It is made in a crystal or clear colored
glass and has a circular medallion design molded into each side.
It was made by the Imperial Glass Company
formerly of Bellaire, Ohio.
It is a quality
piece of pressed glass.
According
to my records I purchased this from the Imperial Glass factory gift shop in 1984.
Although I found no verification for this I
believe this to be a re-introduction by Imperial of the “Flue” pattern with the
circular medallion design added.
Since
this was during the time Lenox owned Imperial and the year the factory closed
this may have been a very limited production item.
The
Imperial Glass “Flute” pattern is pictured in the book
Glass Toothpick Holders: Second Edition
by Neila & Tom
Bredehoft and Jo & Bob Sanford on page 105.
However, this pattern with a design like this molded into the glass is
not mentioned or pictured.
It
is a nice example and gorgeous as you can see from the photos!

collecting toothpick holders at their website.
I
do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of

Age and Condition
It
dates to circa 1970s – 1980s.
It
is in excellent to near mint original condition.
Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my
description of this item.
There is one
small shallow flake about 1/8″ x 3/16″ in size (this can be seen in the close-up 
photo) to the very underside of the base of the pattern around the body; this really is not noticeable by running your finger around the base and is in a location that is not easy to spot or see.  There is also some other extremely minor
roughness to a couple of the points on the pattern base.
Otherwise, there no chips, flea bites, cracks,
hairlines or repairs.
I see no obvious
signs of wear.
Please keep in mind the
photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will
look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.
Please
note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a
mark on the piece.
It will be either
just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the
right side of the photo.

2.25” (5.7 cm) in diameter and sits about 2.5” (6.4 cm) off the table.

Shipment will be via the USPS.

tracking of the shipment) is included with all domestic shipments paid for

We always do our best to
combine shipping costs to save you as much as possible on shipping.
If you want your package insured, you must
let us know in advance of payment.
Please take the shipping costs into

If you purchase
more than one of our open salt cellars, individual nut dishes or toothpick
holders, at the same time, we will refund all but one of the shipping charges
that eBay charges you.
If the items are
set up as “Free Shipping” and you buy more than one of our open salt cellars,
individual nut dishes or toothpick holders at the same time we will refund you
$ 4.00 for each piece you buy, after the first one.
Your actual shipping costs should be calculated
automatically when you enter your zip code into eBay.
All items will be professionally packaged for maximum
protection in shipping.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
The only form of payment I accept
from international buyers is Pay Pal.
No
exceptions!
International shipments will
encounter longer shipping times due to distance and Customs requirements.
The USPS says 6-10 business days, but it can
take longer.
International buyers are
responsible for all customs fees, duties, import taxes or other related customs
or import charges and all our out of pocket costs incurred in the shipment of
packages internationally.
International shipment options will
be via USPS First Class Mail (when the item being shipped meets the
requirements of that service) or Priority Mail when it does not.
DO NOT ask us to show a lesser value
on the Customs Forms than the item sold for, or to ship the item purchased item
as a gift.

RETURN POLICY
If for some reason
you are unhappy with the item you purchased and would like to return it please
contact me within 14 days to discuss the details.
Refunds will be based on the original selling
price of the item only and less any fees charged by eBay.

Items must be returned within 30 days of you
receiving it and in the same condition as originally shipped.
